Youth Workshop: Emphatic Food Tasting, Arts and Sensory Play

“With every ingestion of food, the human being enters into a soul-spiritual communion with certain earthly and cosmic forces, whether liberating or binding, elevating or sinking, depending on what and how we eat.”—- Agriculture Course, Rudolf Steiner
Through emphatic food tasting, arts and sensorial experiences with the food, this 1.5 hour workshop introduces youth to the joys of wonder, connection and community. They unfold confidence, freedom and love to food, land and each other.
Facilitated by Chai Chik Ying. This workshop is part of the project “Guard The Fire: Youth-led Community Food”.
Chik Ying is a gardener, artist, educator and researcher. She has been actively working on connecting people with self, others and nature through arts, Biodynamic gardening, nutrition and community educational programs.
Language: English/Chinese
Open for youth 16-35 yrs old. 16 pax only.
Fees: RM20-40 (sliding scale).
